I am looking for some Lee Reloading data, from their newest manual. Not sure if they even list cast loads. But specifically the .44Magnum loading of the .430-310
cast boolit.
Anyone have this I would appreciate a scan or a transcription for the H110/W296 and A2400 data, for a Marlin lever gun if it matters.

Thanks

Pete

.44 Remington Magnum / .44 Magnum (Hodgdon Pistol Data Maximum Loads) Reloading Data

325gr. BTB LFN GC Winchester W-296 22.0 1,368
Remarks: bullet diam.: .430"; COL: 1.730"; 38,100 cup

You " should have " slightly less pressure with your 310 gr. bullet vs. the 325 gr. bullet above .

For the Marlin 1894 in .44 Mag load the Lee 310 at an AOL of 1.620 to 1.625 depending on where it falls into the crimp groove and will still function in your marlin. with 21.0Gr of H-110 or W-296 with a Standard Primer. A Mag primer is not needed. Also size the boolit to .432 and you are there. :)

This should get you right at 2 in groups at 100 yards. :)

Sorry I do not load with 2400 as of yet. But the load given just plain works. :)

Sorry I had to go check and come back to make changes as the first one is how I load them for my Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter lol. :)

Here is a good thread for you to go through. :) http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=60336

21.5 gr of H110 loaded long into the first crimp groove with a standard primer gabe me 1250ish fps. I worked my load all the way to 23.5 and 1450, don't go that high it hurts.

I usually use 17 gr. 2400 with either the Lee 310, the Lyman 300 gr. SWC. Not as warm as the above loads with 110 or 296, but they do all I need for most things, and I don't mind shooting them in my S&W Mountain gun. In the Blackhawks and Redhawks, the 22 gr. 296 is a good heavy load. I use that load some in my FA model 83.:-)

Lee 310 GC - 19 Grains of H110 touched off by a cci mag primer at the 2nd (deepest) crimp groove works wonders through my puma. 1350fps. I wouldn't stuff more than 21 grains of H110 into that case with the boolit seated at the 2nd groove.
