Does anyone here use the Lyman 358665 for there .357 Loads and if so have you found H-110 or W-296 to work well? And if so at what powder charge. This will be for my Ruger Security Six and Marlin 1894.

Thank You all in advance.

I use 4.5 grains HP-38 (same powder as 231 except for the label) and a 358665 boolit to make a very accurate 38 Special load. You can use any of the 357 Magnum data for 158 grain bullets for faster 357 loads. Since the 358665 is plain base it might be best to hold it to1200 fps to 1300 fps and use gas check boolits for faster speeds.
