Ok, I admit it, I am doing things out of order.

I picked up my first 9MM (S&W 6906) at a show this weekend. Work has been busy, so no bore slugging, etc.

I threw together a few loads with 3.5 BE and the Lee 124 TC, and took them to the club last night.

Feed and function was great, accuracy was pretty good, but about 1/2 went through the target sideways.

Boolit too small?

I think you figured it out, but is the the bullet too small on it's own or are you squezing it down somehow. Tooo much crimp? Factory crimp? or is it too small after sizing?

Undersize bullet, use .357" dia. Make sure the backer of the target holder are not the problem.

Too small a bullet or not enough vel. your load is only making about 900fps. Many 9mm will not take a .357" bullet, but you can try it.

You're holding the pistol sideways like the homies do in the movies:kidding:

Slug your groove and compare with the bullet size you used. If you're taper crimping maybe you over did it.
