Lee recomends that the locator pins and sprues be lubed with Alox Beeswax mix. All I have on hand is LLA and they say not to use it for that.
Can you give me some alternatives, there is probably something even better than Alox Beeswax.

Thanks

I'm sure you find most agree here that the best lube you can get for they is Bull plate lube sold by bullshop here on the board. I used to us WD-40 and it worked ok and would work for you until you get something better.

I have tried all kinds of lube including costly high temp. grease. When I bought my first NOE mold I received a small bottle of "Bullplate lube" with it. I will never use anything else. This stuff is the BEST!

Bullplate and/or scraps of Larsen's BAC lube. Just a quick touch on the pins when the mold is hot.

Bullplate! If you have to use something before it arrives, Beeswax or as mentioned above. If all you have is WD-40, spray a q-tip and just wipe the pins, don't try to spray the pins! You will get it in the cavs.

WD-40 doesn't hurt the cavities it dries to a thin film. I used to use it as a mould release.
