30-30 & tac ?

Does anyone have any experience with TAC in the 30-30? If so how did it perform?

I am looking for a hunting load ( other than the one I have using RX7) for a 150 grain fp that dresses out at 154. I wrote Ramshot and they sent me data of 26.6 to 29.5. I'm just wondering if anyone has used it and how it worked for them. The load would be used in a 94 Winchester.

I haven't used any of Western Powders in the .30-30, but I have used them in quite a few different guns. The Ramshot line is very clean burning and not temperature sensative. I think you'll like it!

I used Tac in its bigger brother the 32 spl. using 30 gr. and 170 gr boolit. Nothing mind blowing though, shot as well as anything else in that burning range.Whats nice about Tac its seems to burn well at lower pressures unlike H335.So it can be reduced off on max. and still work well .

Thanks for the info. The experience that I have had with the Ramshot powders is that they burn clean. It's nice to know that it burns well at low pressures as well. Being kinda new at this cast bullet thing, at least for rifles, I'm doing a lot of experimenting.
