All I can say is that I'm IN LOVE!!![smilie=w:

No more taking forever pan lubing/hand lubing and then sizing through the Lee's.

Yes, getting a Star dialed in for the first time is a real hand- and arm-saving eye-opener. I cried tears of joy! It's a great "why didn't I get one of these years ago?!" moments for sure!

I just got one. I found it a killer on the arm because you can go so fast, just can't stop!!

You guys are torturing me. A Star isn't in the cards for me till next year at the earliest.

They are spectacular for sure. I got a original Star a couple years back as part of a trade. Always thought they were kind of expensive but once I got one I wish I would have spent the $$ sooner. Dies are offered by fellow board member Lathesmith or you can make a adapter to use the Saeco dies like Ken and I have done.

I'm now making all my Star dies with the "flangeless" design. It takes less material and is much quicker.

Where can I buy a Star lube sizer ? Is a custom mould like a LBT the same kinda step up like going from a Lyman 4500 to a Star ?

Star's show up on eBay often. I see one on there now, with the bidding under $200.

Echo, I'll bet that it will not stay at that price. I've seen more than one nut on flea-bay pay over the price that you can buy a new one at.

Agreed, I watched them on e-bay for 6 mths before I just broke down and bought one. They go for silly prices.
I'm afraid I'm not having the epiphany everyone else is having with the Star. I'm getting an awfull lot of excess lube on the boolits outside the grooves. I've adjusted things till I'm blue in the face. I'll try another caliber soon, see if that works.
