...........I have some load data for the 35 Rem on a small ring Mauser, using the 200gr Saeco. Would that work?

The little yellow TC contender load book is a great source for such barrel lengths.

200 grain boolit with unique powder from above book.

9.5 gr starting =14in vel= 1203fps

max charge 12.0 =14in vel=1398fps

Substituting your green dot will give similar results if you use the above figures and subtract .5 grain from the unique loads listed.

So GreenDot would be 9.0 to start and 11.5 as a theoretical max charge, and if you look in the lyman cast boolit book it will concur exactly as far as charge weight but the velocities will be off due to the barrel length used in the testing.

I have used all loads listed above in my marlins and found them to be rather anemic....but anemic has it's place from time to time.

O.S.O.K.

What velocity are you looking for? I load them (200 Gr RCBS) for a Marlin to 1900 fps (ish) with a load of 38 grains of W748. That would probably give you around 1700 fps out of your 14" barrel. It's almost a full-pressure load - just backed off one grain from what I use with jacketed 200 grain RP bullets.
