I stopped by the local tire store yesterday to see if they had any wheel weights - they did and I snagged em - just 20-25 pounds, but I'm gonna take what I can find these days.
They are switching to steel weights and for a while, the battery supplier would take their old weights which they have to dispose of "properly" as their "toxic".
Well, the battery people aren't taking them any longer. That's good for me and I'll be stopping by every so often to take whatever they've got.
Just thought I'd mention this - now might be the last opportunity to get some ww stocked up...
I'm sure you all know that the EPA is looking at outlawing the lead ww's too - they will most likely do this as they are pushing hard with bogus "studies" showing how they fall off of wheels and pose a threat to the "public". Yeah, right...
