I aquired a bunch of sizing dies in an estate sale. They don't fit in my Star, the diameter is too large. They also have threads on the bottom. I looked up Saeco dies on Midway and they seem to have threads on the bottom. Anybody have a good pic of a Saeco die and the diameter dimensions? I may have some 45 and 38 Saeco dies for sale! Or was there such thing as a commercial Star with larger dies than than the regular Star? Also came with a bunch of punches. Have a flat on the top part of the shank, like for a set screw to push against.

The only ones I know of with threads on the bottom are Saeco.

.................I've cut some Saeco dies. The flange is .875" (7/8"). The body diameter IIRC is .685". Not sure but that figure sticks in my head. And I'll agree, the only dies I've seen with threads on the bottom are Saeco's.

On these the body is .875 and the flange is an even 1". They look like larger Star dies with a long threaded bottom.

Meepos dies have a smaller shank. I just measured one at 0.620".
