Just bought a cz82 recently in 9x18 mak caliber. Has anyone shot cast boolits with the polygonal rifling and what your thoughts are. Frank

I used hard cast bullets that I bought on ebay and eventually bought a lee mold. Both shot fine in the polygonal barrel. I used cut down 9mm brass in the PA63, P-64, Makarov, and CZ82. I liked shooting the CZ the best of these 4. I even had a couple of conceal carry holsters made for it. I don't take it to the range as often because I got tired of mixing my 9mm cut down brass with my regular 9mm brass. Later Don

I haven't shot tons of cast through mine but I've had no issues with the Lee Mak mold.

I've got a CZ83 in .380 ACP. Very similiar model but chambering and rifling. I shoot cast 95gr LRN out of it with no problems.

I shoot lino cast bullets from mine and it works just fine. I haven't tiied anything softer than pure linotype.

I hope it will digest lead.
I bought into the GB mold just to feed the CZ 82.

Louis, haven't had the chance to shoot it yet. But have about 500 empty 9x18 cases when I had my mak. Guess I'd better get busy and start working on them. Frank
