J-word is the sneered at jacketed bullet
Beagling is the process of adding aluminum shims/tape to the mold surfaces to increase the diameter of a cast boolit. For specifics do a search. Ther is lots of info.

I got a weird look from the clerk at Home Depot when I slipped and asked for "Beagling tape" to repair a leak in my attic a/c ductwork.

mark, i think you have your answer, but i wish someone would post a list of definitions for these things. YMMV, IIRC, and so on. it seems like every now and then there is a new one that i cant figure out.
