Saeco 540 gr in Ruger 4570 no 1

For you who shoot Ruger no 1 the 540 Saeco bullet usualy has the nose to big to feed without pushing it in.... so I bought a seizing die from Lyman in .446 and sized the nose in my lube sizer by putting the bullet nose first and stopping at the first driving band ..... works great and this can be done to other long nose bullets.... for your info .... Canuck.....

This same regimen prompted me to have Buckshot check my #1 x 45-70's land/bore diameter, due to some designs failing to fit as bore-riders. The land tops just clear a .449" pin gauge.
