Applyed for an Armed Driver/Guard

I applied for an Armed Driver/Guard position for the Loomis Fargo company. Has anyone ever had this type of job or worked with Loomis before? Just wondering how it is, any thoughts would be great! thank ye.

I don't know your finacial situation, but the guys I've spoken with aren't real happy. Any reason you want this job, or is it just something to tide you over?

Those I've talked to working for the various armoured courier services in this neck of the woods always complain about one thing, the pay. That goes for the big outfits as well as the smaller "money haulers."

Really, since I applied for the job I've been hearing some pretty negative comments on it. The pay, risk, etc.. And it seems like it's something I'm just going to have to pass on. I didnt know much about the job at the time and to me it seemed like a good change of pace, but now it just don't seem worth it.
