Everyone knows I don't like Keith boolits but I have been playing with light loads made with the RCBS, 245 gr .44 boolit. Fun stuff.
Anyway, here are proper loads that will shoot between 1-1/4" to 1-3/8" at 50 yards.
Cases are neck sized, boolits are 28 BHN and aged to expand to .432". I loaded 10 gr of Unique so they reach out a little yet are still accurate and pleasant to shoot.
Notice the snake that swallowed an egg look. You can see the boolit base and you can't see it on the picture but grease grooves can be seen too.
Good case tension without sizing boolits when seating, sure ignition and good alignment in the throats.
Many cans will die tomorrow! :Fire:

love the 44-40 look.
