I have loaded a few .433 rb's in .44mag. I have heard that seating the ball very deep in the case improves accuracy. Has anyone tried deep seated round balls? Is it worth re adjusting the dies or should I just carry one as before?

I've always seated to just barely past the equator and then apply a tiny amount of crimp.

At times, I've used a two-ball load where the first one is seated deep, then some lube is rubbed in the space and a second ball seated to the equator. They print very close to one another out to 25 yards or so.

BTW, two round balls weigh about the same as one standard bullet, so you can use a regular "Start" load, but DO NOT go much above that due to the much-reduced case volume.

+1 on Rocky's recommendation. I have loaded both single and double ball for short range thump. 4.0-6.0 gr of WW231 is just about right or equivalent in Bullseye.
