Can you lap a Lee sizing die

I am casting .460 Boolits for my Guide Gun. The mold is casting about 461 but it is a gas check Boolit.

Lee doesn't make a 460 sizing die, 458 is the closest I've seen. Can this be lapped and how?

Insert a steel rod wrapped in abrasive paper in the die. Roll the die back and forth on your thigh switching the die for end every 50 rolls. I used 220 grit paper and opened a die .004 in 200 rolls. Very simple to do.

I've hones them out with emery, and mirror polish with FLITZ or Simichrome.
