Ouick question. Is H4831SC the same as H4831? Just playing it safe, and would like to make sure.

They are the same powder. The SC designation means "short cut", the powder extrusions are cut shorter for better metering. The only difference is the physical characteristic of the length of the individual powder kernals. I use both powders, the SC for my 257 AI.

same characteristics of each except load density....the short cut may pack denser.

You will like the 4831 SC better. It flows more smoothly through the powder measure than regular 4831.
