I have a friend that frequents the garage and tool sales around town. My wife has a bee hive at his place down the street. He calls her his "sharecropper" because she gives him honey and jellies from his trees. He also leaves boxes of canning jars on the front porch on a regular basis.

He is always picking up solder for me and it usually runs me about a dollar to a dollar and a half a pound. Today he brought a guy by with a little over a hundred pounds of WWs. He wanted $45 so I paid up without question. I know that I paid 10 cents a pound more than scrap, but this was delivered and 1/2 of it was already in ingot form.

This guy also keeps an eye on the place while we are gone. It's good to have friends.

You can't beat a deal like that. You're absolutely right about having GOOD friends.

That sounds like a good friend to have.

A good friend is worth more than silver or gold. Now a really good friend would have paid for them. LOL
