Does anyone have a fix for the primer collection system on the co-ax press? The tube wall is thin after threading and easily breaks.

You can get a replacement from the company. They are good. I'd just like to know how to make the primer catcher work properly. Maybe mine has a thicker diameter. It hasn't broke, but it can't remove the spent primers. They get stuck in the tube.

When the tube was in one piece, spent primers that ere stuck were removed with a knitting needle or piece of drill rod.

I've never had a primer stick in the tube, but I also clean it with a 22 rifle brush every now and then. And I do de-prime a lot of brass using my Co-Ax as I use it with a universal de-priming die before I tumble my brass.

I'll try the brush. Maybe that's the answer. Then we don't need to use knitting needles, long allen wrenches to force them out when they jumble in the tube, climb up to the shellholder. Media is all over the shell plate, gets stuck, take it apart, etc. Thanks. [smilie=s:

Is it possible there's a constriction or burr somewhere? They fall straight through to the can on mine with never a bobble.

.30 caliber brush works. .22 is too loose. Maybe that did the trick. If not, maybe I'll lap it. It's not mirror smooth. When you look into the tube, you see "rings".
Everything needs tweaking. :coffee:

I have never had one issue of primer sticking...I would deburr the ends of the pipe, and go over it thoroughly.....if not that or a too small inside diameter tube, I am stumped.

The .30 caliber brush worked. It works great now. Primers cling every time. Hiram, try out the .30 caliber brush. It works wonders. :Fire:
