Hey, fellas,
how 'bout put your hands together and welcome Medic502 to the forum. He lives here in "Mayberry" with me and wants to learn about casting and handloading. He's a director for the Emergency Medical Services Dept. and is married to a very sweet lady and they have 4 head of young'uns.
I'm gonna do my best to share with him all that I've learned from this forum and make my shop available to him.

Medic502, this is Jim, copy?

Welcome, Medic - if you can stand the hecticness (is that a word? Well, it is now...) of your profession, you may actually enjoy the laidbackedness (another...) that exists here 95% of the time, and the absurd amounts of knowledge available. Enjoy.

Medic502 You're going to like it here, good people, lots of real knowledge and advice to be had here. Be fore warned! This is HIGHLY addictive! Lead has been known to cause a complete lack of interest in TV, books, cars, fishin, painting the house, weedin the garden, mowin the grass, driving the wife home from having a baby, taking christmas lights down, eating dinner, or lunch and birthdays. Welcome! :drinks:

Welcome, medic502. Basic warnings apply: Don't believe everything you read about cats and sheep, Watch out for the Group Buys forum unless you like living on Ramen Noodles, and this can be addictive. Upside is that there is a certified psycho-therapist available, downside is that he'll accept payment in wheelweights.....:holysheep

And yeah, you gonna learn a lot of new things here. (We are the worse enablers you'll find).

P.S. When it comes to 'Lube Grooves', hit Waksupi up first. He's the resident 'PRO' on those.

Does this give us the right to open up our own clinic now? I knew there was help out there for this addiction somewhere?
Wlecome Medic. You've come to the right place. We have old farts, such as myself and hell yeah there are a number more out there, and some young newbie guys hanging around. We all love to talk shop and some of us old farts even learn from some of the ***'s. And vise versa. All in all a very good site with a lot of experience here. It gets humorous and serious at times but it always seems to work towards the common goal.

We've been described as an asylum, but we are in truth a society, where we all share our good will, knowledge and abilities with others, many times without even being asked- We exhibit comraderie and humor in almost all things, and honestly share the hurtin' when one of us is afflicted or in mourning. You will be like a sponge initially, soaking up so much information and trying the techniques you learn to make that knowledge your very own. With time, confidence comes, and the knowledge continues to build, and you learn the truths of our ways--
The almost mystic characteristics of the molten lead that runs through our sport, that binds everything we do into a study of firearms, ballistics, hunting, target sports, and good friends. Understand the absolute requirement for SAFETY in everything you do, lest the very lead that we work with burn you, lest the powder that propells our product cause injury to you, others, or the prized firearm you use.
We welcome you to our fold, to become one of our merry men, to learn and contribute what you know, what you learn.
Welcome, new FRIEND. We are enhanced by your visit!
