Does anyone make or know of someone who makes adj. coe molds for paper patching boolits? Tia.

Some of us do. However, I use conventional molds, and size them to wrap. Ex. I use the lee 180gn .30cal Lee Mold. I water drop wheel weight, size it from .309 to .308. From that point, I wrap up to .317-.318 and size it to .309.
I feel the lube lands that get sized down add to the retention of the paper during firing. I get good confetti, great grouping, and I run full tilt loads.
That is for .30, your particular caliber might have different demands.
That is the fun part of patching.

Docone31,
I tried doing that with a .308 mold and found the patch wouldn't stand sizing from .314 back to .308. Is there a trick to resize a pp boolit .006 or .008. (Maybe we should move this thread to the pp forum)

Use a Lee push through sizer die, and smooth it out with some emery cloth on a dowel spinning in a cordless drill. A lot of those dies are too rough when new. Once polished they leave the paper nice and smooth, and leave a lead boolit with a mirror finish in the sized areas. I like to start with a die that is .001" or more smaller than desired, so there is room to remove some material. Eg. get a .308" die and polish to .309".

I also use conventional boolits, patch them, and size down after patching. Lube helps. I've tried rubbing some LLA on them, but found Hornady's Unique case lube works best. (The white waxy stuff in the small plastic tub, NOT the spray stuff.)

What did you use for lube on the patch?
I have no issues with large paper sizeings.
I did not prepolish my die. I just waxed the patch, and it went through with a final diameter of .309.

I used JPW. I guess I 'll smooth the die and try again. I'm just starting with pp'ing boolits and it's all a learning curve to me know.

One thing I didn't do was clean the die. After thinking about it, I figure there's probably LLA residue left in the die from previous use.
