was looking around at gunbroker, just for laughs.

some joker has a bid of $480 + $25 shipping on a case (5000) of federal large rifle match primers:shock:

Now i know match primers are a little higher than standard primers......and i know primers / componets are in short supply now, but.....

help me out, guys.... is there some magic about Fed match primers that i don't know about?

I'd bet it's a shill bid.

btw I bought 2K CCI bench rest LR primers from powder valley a few days ago.
Normally I'd of bought 1K and felt I had plenty but partly to justify haz-mat fee but mostly because I fell into the panic. 2K was what I put in the box. And their's the problem.

i sort of hope it's a real bid

i can't believe someone would be desperate enough to pay that, especially when other primers are availible on gunbroker for less than half that, and that's assuming they can't find any locally.

So, that leaves it down to if someone is DUMB enough to pay that much, he DESERVES IT, and that alot of the problem.....
