Fellers, Looking for some stuff to projectize an old BPCR I have. Any idea where to get a fore end cap for a round barrel? Tried Gun Parts but all they seem to have is octagon. Also tried Buffalo Arms with no success unless I'm missing something. JH45gun made one for his roller that looks pretty good, but would like one out of harder material than he made his out of. Any leads would be appreciated.

Make yourself a "pewter" forend tip (pewter in this context is "Tin"). It is really not all that hard and it is easy to work. You can end up with a really nifty tip to your likin'. It is VERY durable if done well.

Most any of the "do it yourself" muzzle loading books will show you the process.
