Anyone have any expierience with Craemer molds. I bought a 3 cavity with handles on Ebay, advertized as .316 dia, its a spitzer with one lube groove. I t is a nicely made mold of cast iron, with a unique sprue cuttoff plate. It casts very easily, I will measure and weigh the bullets when cooled.

Carl Cramer sold his moulds business to Saeco long ago(like early '50s). Castpics has illustrations from an early catalog..I think I saw your new mould while on E-Bay..Reminded me of a Sam Squibb design, from lyman's line..... Onceabull:castmine:

Great moulds. A cut above Lyman of the same period. Count yourself lucky.

I have a Cramer 55A, which is a nominal 100g 25 cal. 2C mould. It is a real fine piece of workmanship and casts nice round boolits. I'd buy any Cramer I could get my hands on.

I have about a dozen Cramer molds and another 3 SAECO-Cramer molds. SAECO continued the Cramer designs for some time.

I have found Cramer molds to be of excellent quality. I saw the three holer on ebay and would have taken a run at it, but I am cash poor. Cramer molds often sell for way under vintage Lyman molds on the second hard market. Don't let the word out....Let's keep this a secret..OK

That must have been the .45 RN. I had my eye on it. It went for what I felt to be a slightly higher price than I wanted to pay for it.

Beau...I have a 4 hole SAEC0 rendition of the same 45 ACP RN bullet that I could part with... "For a price Senor....always for a price."

I love my Cramer #4 .452-240 for .45Auto Rim.

Does anyone happen to have a Cramer #7 .431-250gr they want to sell ? :)

Cramer #4 is the original Keith bullet we know as 452423. It also does well in the 45 Colt round and the 45 ACP.

Cramer #7 is the original Keith bullet we know as 429421. As good as it gets for the 44 special and Magnum rounds.

Chargar:

Thank you for the information on the #7. I have never had one in my hand but it looked very nice in the catalog reproduction I have.

Do you happen to own a #7 ? If so I would appreciate a couple bullets the next time you cast !
