Wiping Solder?

Just picked up some very large ingots marked "Bell System Wiping Solder". Anybody know what it consists of? Thanks in advance.

I know about plumbers' wiping solder but not phone service stuff. Do a thumbnail scratch test and see how soft it is. My guess is it's basically the same thing and that's a good thing!

Bell Sys. wiping solder is 50% Sn + 50% Pb. I got 12 lbs. of it when I last purchased WW's.
