Twice tonight I have logged in and spent a long time composing and polishing a lengthy post, and twice I have been informed that because I am not logged in I cannot post. Then I log in again and find that my brilliant post has been sent irretrevably to Disneyland. We are not amused.

No solution to your problem, but I do have a work around... Highlight your post and right click, copy it before you hit the submit button. Then if you have to log back in, just right click, paste the post back in the box.

Nyak Kid--No log in problems for a logger might be because you are on the cutting edge of technology.

I believe since the upgrade, the cookie name must have changed somewhat, so there might be two cookie versions on your computers which could be interfering with each other.

Some things to try:

1)
Internet Explorer. Go to Tools - Internet Options - Delete Cookies. Restart browser and re-log into the site.

2)
Go here and try this:

3)For those of you that can see this page, go here and "Delete all sites"

Like I said, this was a big upgrade and it was necessary and there are a few glitches that just need to be worked out. But this should do it.

Thanks to Willy and Ken for trying to help with my recent troubles with computer/ISP/board? You must understand that I am completely computer illiterate and don't want to learn, and my wife is only slightly computer literate. I have managed to work around the dropped log in problem and send out PMs, and also can now use the edit function for my posts with only trifling inconvenience. to me it would be more trouble to learn how to fix it.

I do have a couple of questions. Right next to my handle, above my avatar, is a green spot that looks like a little green light. What is it? Also, below the avatar is a notice that reads, "referrals 1." What is a referral? (This is on the avatar and handle that comes p when vI click on my handle on the list of members on line.) TIA.

The green dot means that the current member is ONLINE. So it's basically showing that you are online. When it's not lighted up, the member is not online.

When people sign-up on the forum they can enter a username that refered them to the website... Say for example, I went to another board and asked if someone would like to join us. He comes over and starts to sign up and see's a line that says "Who refered you?". He would probably type in "Gunload Master" and I would get a referal point.... Really it don't mean too much.

I'm sure happy to see you Online again!!

This is just a test to see if I get dropped again.
