Has anyone stumbled across a site offering the reamer for rent yet?
Also wondering about the dies.

Renting may be a bit diffacult, but the good news is that you do not need a dedicated 338 federal reamer. All you need is a standard 308 reamer with a 338 neck reamer. The dies will be available for it very soon if they are not already. This cartridge is nothing more tha the 338/308 wildcat with Federals name on it.

Blacktail, by a "neck reamer" do you mean a throating reamer?

Stuck with the 338-08 or decided to get fancy and make it hard. I have wanted one a long time since I load my 338 Mag to those levels to use around here.
Seems like a cast shooter also.
The mag LUVS Lee 338 bullet, but will NOT shot the 200s I have tried so far!
I found a load so quickly for the Lee 220 grainer, I got discouraged quickly with the 200 and quit my search. Now I am out of both boolits.

I think the 338 Federal would be sweet in the new Remington Model 7CDL [smilie=1:

4-D shows the 338 federal in their list of rifle reamers. I have done tool rental from them in the past and the tool was in excellent shape. All arrived on time and they were pleasant to deal with.

What's the difference between the 338-08 and the 338 Federal chambers?
