lapping a hollow base/hollow point lee?

can hollowbase/hollowpoint lee molds be lapped? i have couple that stick pretty baddly. can/should i lap the pin as well?

You can lap one of these with no problem, however I think I'd do one thing at a time.

Meaning lap the HP pin and work real hard to keep that lapping com[pound out of the aluminum mold area! You can imbed steel "chips" into aluminum real easy.

Same deal with the mold cavity itself! You do not want "cross" contamination of the metals!
