I will not cast without bullshop sprue plate lube. It speeds up the process and eliminates lead smears. I also use speed green lube, no smoke, no leading, leaves barrels shiney!

I use the Bull Plate lube and the NASA lube for smokless and shot a .305" five shot group at 100 yards yesterday with my 308 Win. Going to place another order soon.

I'll admit I was never a believer in bull plate until I was given some to try by a fellow caster. This stuff is incredible. Absolutely no smearing of lead on the blocks....and it removes smears already there. this stuff must be Unobtainium or something cause I've never seen anything else like it.

Hope it is OK to post this here - not sure where else to put it :-) for clarification we accept personal checks and money orders for the lubes as well as paypal - many were confused that we *only* accepted paypal for lube payment -Because of paypal policy we can not use it for bullets, we can only use paypal for lube, ( non firearms related items) so that is why the site said paypal for lube only. Sorry if it sounded like we only accepted paypal for all orders. Truth is we prefer not to use them at all but do accept it to help accomodate our foregn customers eliminating currency exchange issues. - sorry for that confusion!

hope everyone here is well
God Bless

Bullplate mold lube is a miracle product. I've only ordered from them once and received help on what to order and timely shipping of products. Good products, good people to work with.

+1 in all respects.

Bullplate lube extends the life of your moulds.
And makes casting a pleasure.
We send out a sample with every one of our mould.

If you own a bullet mould or do any type of casting.......................you should have some of Dan's Bullplate Lube.

This is an amazing product and you shouldn't be without it.

What is the best way to use this product for casting? How and where to apply to the mold? Some info would be GREAT :).

JesterGrin,

Bull Plate is used to keep your mold tops from galling from sprue plate and lead smears. It's a liquid and you apply it using a Q-Tip once the mold is up to casting temperature.

Like this: Cast till mold is making good boolits, fill mold and cut the sprue while leaving the boolits in the mold. Now dip a Q-Tip in the Bull Plate lube and lightly coat the top of the mold (do your best to keep it away from the cavities). Wipe off the excess and return to casting. You may also coat the bottom of the sprue plate.

I also use it on the alignment pins and trust me, once you try it? You'll always want a bottle of Bull Plate handy when you're casting. Wish I'd found this years ago.
