When an H&G mould has the mould number then another number after it (i.e. #50.357) is that second number the "as cast" diameter of the bullet?

IIRC that is the sizing diameter that the person who ordered the mould stated they inteneded to use. I used to order moulds from H&G and I think thats the way it was....Wes

That is the size diameter. catch is you don't know what alloy it's supposed to use to make it.
My #50 .357 needs at least a 50/50 (half wheel wieght half pure lead) to size at .358". The molds for .357" were for the Clark conversion 1911" in 38 special wad cutter. Clark used 38 Super barrels which are .357"
I've a six cavity #50 I could sell resonable.
