Today, 14 June, is Flag Day and the 234th birthday of the United States Army. Happy birthday Army.

Well, I'm a day late and a dollar short as usual. Happy birthday US Army. I celebrated our birthday by planting flowers, when I should have been casting boolits.

Was back at Camp Lejeune training Marines on the 14th and mentioned it to a platoon. They knew I was Army and were appreciating the training. I was surprised when most of them said "Happy Birthday Army" back....Semper Fi to those boys!

I gave the Army a toast whiskey later that evening with good whisky.
