Ranch Dog e-mails swamping me!

Has anybody else received dozens and dozens of e-mails from Ranch Dog Moulds? Either something has gone wrong or something nefarious is afoot. Haalp!

I think folks are receiving a bunch from me also.I"m sure my email was hacked about a week ago,but hasn't happened since.I'll bet hjis was too.

i have too. it seems related to the ranch dog forums.

A spammer is probably using Ranch Dog molds as a return address. It happens to me occasionally.

I was getting them also. They were notifications of a private message. If you were registered as a member of one of the threads there to receive notification of progress on a particular mold, that is probably why you are getting them.

Go to the site at
http://ranchdogmolds.com/forum/index.php

Log in and then in the upper right hand corner click on

User Control Panel

Then click on the tab labeled

Board Preferences

Locate the

"Notify me on new private messages:" radio button and change it to NO

Then go down to the bottom of the page and click on the:

SUBMIT button.

That should shut down the emails to you.

I just spoke with Michael and he is away from home this weekend.

I spoke to him before I was aware of the problem but when he gets back and is aware of the problem, I am sure he will fix it.

I have been a getting a ton of email of from myself at work. Spammers will get an email address from a website and then use it forge the from address.
