Traditions KY Pistol Kit and Lee Combo Mold

I am waiting on a backordered Traditions Kentucky Pistol Kit from Dixie Gun Works that my wife got me for out anniversary.

I figure that in the spirit of this endeavour......I'll pour my own balls for it. I also thought about the LEE REAL bullet. I see the combo mold available in 50 cal.

Anyone have any experience with the REAL in a pistol? Traditions website lists it as a 1:20 twist so it should stabilize anything you load in it.

Anybody else shoot this pistol?

They shoot great in the ROA and in my Traditions .50 Buckhunter.

I like the R.E.A.L.s. They perform very well in my .50, and my wife's .45. I make the lube. They do indeed engrave at loading, so when loading a pistol, you should have some way to handle the pistol during loading.
If nothing else, the combo mold, you at least have the balls also.
Once you get used to loading it though, it should be a winner.
