I'd like to have a 200 grain bullet for the 10mm, but i can't seem to find one, and was thinking of getting the Lee 41 mag moulds and sizing this down. Can this be done? I realize that .9 is quite a stretch...

anybody know of a good 200 grain HP mould for the 10mm?

i'd lube it first or you'll lose a lot of your groove.

I managed to run a well lubed 40 S&W case (.424 base diameter) through my lee die. I was inspired after seeing some nice jacketed bullets in the swaging forum.

I gotta think if I can get a .424 diameter brass through there, a .410 lead bullet shouldn't be a huge trick.

If I ever move to a HP design for my 10mm, I will probably get a mold from mountain molds (http://www.mountainmolds.com/) and then send it to hollow-point mold (https://www.hollowpointmold.com/~hollowp2/) for conversion. If you want your finished product to drop a 200 grain mold, talk to Eric at hollow point mold first to find out how many grains oversize to order you mold.

Your gonna lose your groves on a lee bullet.

I have an .41 cal (.415 with WWs) RCBS that I had HP'd buy buckshot and that I size down to .403 for my 40 S&W. I lose very little groove and they are the most accurate cast bullet I have for the 40. I generally size them on an old lubrisizer within hours of the cast and don't have any problem pushing them through.

You will wipe out the lube grooves for sure. If you are willing to spend a little extra, go to the Lee Precision website. Somewhere on there, I think in the FAQS, there is a program that you can use to specify a custom mold and they can make one for you.

Yep just checked Lee Precision. Once there go to FAQ, then custom services, then molds. Would be $126.00 for a two cav or $152.00 for a six.

If this helps, RCBS has a 10mm 200gr swc mold.
Part number 82068 10mm-200-SWC

Wouldn't recommend Lee for a custom mold right now. Most group buys are running at least 6 - 12 months for custom molds. Don't think a single custom mold would make it through much quicker, but I could be wrong.
