Sunday afternoon. Just got done smelting pure pb, 100lb of ingots. Used a cheap lee ingot mold 2 one lb. and 2 half lb.. Going to buy 2 or 3 more molds cause waiting to solidify takes to long.

To the point, put the ingots in a 5 gal. bucket and it did not make it half way. I guestimate a full bucket weighs 250 lbs.

The only stacking problem I see ,who can lift one to put it on top of another.

Note: I use a lee 20 pro pot bottom pour. It seems these small ingots melt faster when added to the pot, works great.

P.S. After skimming junk and fluxing every dip with the ladle was the silver stream premo, mirror finish. Casting for my smoke stuffers sshould be another relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Whatelse could one ask for? Oh I know a new Mi Hec 45 H.P. mold.

I have used the LEE ingot mold for years, the 1/2 lb size ingots are great for the small 4lb melting pot.

I like the 1/2 lb size for 50/50 soldier from the radiator shop. Just the right size to put in with ww in 20lb pot
