I got some redfield front sight mounts off the bay a few years back.slip on with lock down screw and slot on top for insert. Anybody have a source for a good closeup pic of the insert that these use so I can try to make a few. Thanks Aaron

joatmon, try looking in brownells or a champion's choice catalog, they may have some inserts available. I'm taking it that these are the smaller globe front sights like the target shooters use??. If no luck there, try gary fellers in texas. He sells sights for just about anything that goes bang and may have some inserts available. Frank

.................GPC has Sheards front blade inserts along with some other odds and ends in that type stuff.
