There are some here that make their gas checks. With pats or your one deal.
The sofet stuff that the roofers use is .017 -- the factory ones {that I checked} are .020. that may be a place to look.

I ran across some copper coil stock the other day while rummaging through an outbuilding. Appears to be .0155. I used it once on a job in a grounding system.

I've found going to grainger industrial supply and browsing around their shim stock, in both aluminum and copper, you can find virtually any thickness you want.
