How long after casting a boolit before you get a true hardness reading off a boolit? Reason for asking. I mixed some range lead and lino and a batch of WWs and lino. I had some boolits cast from both alloys without the lino and check both after casting the ones with lino were softer but were cast today the others have been cast for awhile so there has to be somekind of time to (cure) for lack of better words. Some of you old time pros may think this is a easy ? but for a guy new to mixing alloys its kind of confussing. What I would like to do is make a batch of alloy up for a certain hardness and label it for later.
