Just compared some prices between Midway and Widener's last week, and danged if Widener's wasn't cheaper on just about everything I checked, which was J-bullets, moulds, primers, and other stuff we use in quantity. The j-bullets were often $1/c cheaper! Just a head's up for any of you near Tennessee, where Widener's located.

Hadn't checked prices in a while, and was surprised, and thought I'd pass it on.

blackwater,

Just think I can drive to Wideners, about 40 minutes away if that.

I can be there in 20 minutes but don't go too often. They aren't open on saturday.

If you have a C&R FFL, you can get "dealer" pricing from Midway, which reduces prices anywhere between 0% and about 20%, depending on the item. I find that my order totals are about 10% less with the discount.

I would like to buy from Widener's but since I live in TN, I would have to pay the
9.75% sales tax. Usually cheaper for me to buy from Midway, Grafs, or whatever. Helps to have the C&R.

Hey guys. looks like a couple of you are rather close to me. It takes me about 20 minutes to get to Wideners. Being a newbie to casting, I could use some local help sometimes. ;-)

www.wideners.com. I don't go too often for the tax reason except to maybe buy powder. I really have to need something to go. I usually buy from grafs and get free shipping without the tax. Same for midsouth- it's shipping plus tax since they are in TN.

Wideners is on the way to the V A hospital. I go by there when I go to the hosp, hour and a half but worth it for me. Midsouth gets my vote for mail order.

The one thing you fellows that live within driving distance of Wideners are forgettting is that if you buy powder there you don't pay that damn phoney hazardous fee..that's alot of money. I agree with the tax though.
