I was just over on sleeze bay looking around and every Lee mould I seen was selling for more than retail. Thanks but no thanks, I will wait!

I noticed, too. The 6-cavs were all around $100 each, and the 2-cavs were all at least $50 or so and some guys were keeping the handles!

Forget it, I'll just wait.

i tried to sell a mold here...was pulled beacuse i am new here. That's ok, i just sold a mold on ebay that i would have listed here, for fellow casters, but ended up getting more than the cost a new from midway which is in stock. OK by me lol. My H&G 6 cavity went for a little less than I though, but still made me happy.

The glory days of Ebay mould buying are long over. In the early days any mould that crossed the $35.00 mark was exceptional. I only wish I'd bought more back then.

A few good deals can still be had on Ebay, if you watch closely.
I picked up a never used (still had the rust preventative on it) Ideal 454190 SC for $28 + $3 shipping not too long ago. It's still never been used because 6-days later I bought a super nice Lyman DC 454190 for $31 + $5 shipping.
But then again, after bidding on several 410459 molds, I finally just swallowed hard and paid over $103 for an "as new?" SC with handles.
The .22, .25 and .41 molds seem to bring quite a premium on Ebay, especially those that have been discontinued, if you're lookin' to cash in.

Aint it the truth. 2 years ago I never paid over $30 shipped for a .41 cal mold now they are going for $80-$90.

What PMO is I have sold 60+ moulds on ebay in the last year the run up started about 2mo ago and I have only sold 5 in that time all RCBS for at least $30 over retail wish I would have hung on to the other 55 until now.

6-7 years ago most moulds on ebay where going for less then $20 W/handels, I bought one lot of moulds (10) mostly lee 6 cav but several Ideal and one H&G for $50 on a BIN.

Can you imagine if ebay was still allowing reloading comp. to be sold like primers powder brass and bullets what the price would be.

Bought a new, still in its original preservative Lyman 429244 for $41, a few months ago. Mostly, though, any used, reloading related item sells for more than new, at full retail. It seems that a great majority of e-Bay buyers have more money than brains.

Flea Bay? What is that? Seriously, I hardly look there anymore for anything. It’s usually cheaper just to order from a retailer and it takes a lot less time. I used to buy a lot there but it’s just plain nuts over there. I’ll do a search from time to time and do a buy it now for something that I need but that’s about it. I never bid on anything anymore. There are to many idiots that will out bid me up and over a buy it new price.

Welllll - there are other things on eBay besides reloading and casting stuff. Tomorrow I'm taking delivery of a car I bought on eBay. 1954 Kaiser w/newly rebuilt engine. Will post a picture down the pike. It was up in the Phoenix area, so a short trip down here to Tucson.
