barrel; looks like they are out again, if you need some now 284 win brass ran thru the fl sizer works fine, otherwise I would call them(Graf) and backorder some

....................I had the same problem. Graf's didn't have any and on recommendations here checked on the 284 Winchester brass. Midway and Graf's were both out. Then I checked Wideners and they had 6-800 pieces in stock. Ordered a hundred and had them in short order.

Ran same up into the Lee 7.5 Swiss dies and got great cases. Loaded up 50 with some basic fireforming loads and they worked perfectly. In the meantime Graf's blurbed they had some back in stock so I got another hundred from them. To date I haven't used them, but I do have that warm fuzzy feeling knowing I do. I do not see how they could work any better.

So far as I'm concerned, get the Winchester 284's and go shoot. If/when Graf's gets more 7.5 and you have the cash, then get some to have if you think you need it. Otherwise, the 284's are a 100% replacement.

You really don't need to "fireform" the 284's once they've been run through the 7.5 sizer. That operation forms the case perfectly to the 7.5 dimensions. You can just load 'em up and go to a match.

IMHO, reformed 284's are vastly superior to Yugo stuff that Graf's has been importing.
