Thinking 44 Mag and 357 mag here, but tested 357 today.

Has anyone had any success using Lil Gun in either of these. I was trying 358429 and the Group buy (back in the day when LARS45 did it) 180 RNFPGC boolit.

Loads that had shot pretty decently with other projectiles opened right up with the Lil Gun.
180 grain Remington partially coated bullet LOVES Lil Gun.

What load has proven to do well with the 160 RNFP group buy, they cast beautifully and look good, I just have not got a load so far they like.

One powder that did show promise with 180 Grain RNFPGC boolit and 358429 was SR4759. I had seen the data for a load in the Lyman Namual, but had never tried it. Just gor a bur today to see what it would do, seemed to hold promise.

I very much like Lil Gun in the 357 with the 358429. Now my load is a cut back 357 as I'm shooting it in a short cylinder New Vaquero, can't remember the load, with a Remington 5.5, but it shoots very well. I also use it in 44 with the Lee 310 and the 454 with the Lee 300 gas check (weighs 317) and the 475 Linebaugh with 400 grain RCBS, accurate and seemingly low pressure in all. Load are all just shy of max on the Hodgdon website. The 44 and Linebaugh are using CCI 350 and the 454 is using Federal 205M's, no ignition problems with any.

I also use the same load in the 357 with 358156. And have used this powder with 38/44 loads too in the short cylinder Ruger.
