My son has had problems getting 9mm for his shooting and has asked me to reload some for him. I’ve loaded some in the past but did not get real good groups. I was using Ly356402 sized .354 and 4.8gr unique. I slugged his gun at .354 but since have purchased a .356 sizer for my Lyman lubsizer. I also bought some bullseye because the unique was leaving some dirt behind. Can some one give me a good grouping target load using bullseye and the 356402. I have several other 38/9mm moulds but would like to use the 356402. I’m using NRA Alox for lube.

Thanks Will

I've shot a lot of 356402s years ago through a couple M39s, a M59 and several Browning HPs. While I don'e have a 356402 mould anymore I still shoot lots of a similar cast bullets through my CZ75.

I use the bullets sized at .357 but .356 is what i used with very good results years ago. I also use Javelina (NRA alox lube). I use 3.5 gr of Bullseye for a target load and 4.5 gr Bullseye for a service duplication load. Both are very accurate with the bullets cast of WWs + 2% tin. The target load runs 920 fps and the service 1130 fps out of the CZ with 5" barrel. For a target load i suggest starting at 3 gr and work up until reliable feed/functioning occurs with your son's pistol. I found the 3.5 gr load to function fine in most standard 9mm pistols so far. The exceptions have been P38s and Lugers and very small carry pistols with short barrels and stiff recoil springs.

I use the lee 125 gr rn tumble lube boolits in my wifes 9mm i go ahead and resize them to
.357 and tumble lube with the xlox a member here sales loaded over 4.5 bulleye works super good not a killer lot of recoil and is shooting 1.5 groups shooting without a bench. im not sure what the 35642 mold throws but this works great in her P95 ruger.
