I only have the 230v version and just had a look at the box and instructions.
No wattage stated!
If I was to have a guestimate probably around 15 watts.

I e-mailed Lyman with this same question because I wanted to buy a plug-in rheostat to control the heater and I wanted to know what level of power the rheostat needed to handle.

The lube heater uses 15 watts of power.

Thank you for the info!! I am amazed they can sell it without the watts or amps stamped on the device.

The things are on backorder most everywhere. Not wanting to wait, I just cut a hunk of 1" aluminum and drilled two 3/8" holes in from the side - one for a cartridge heater and one for a thermostat. Needed to know what wattage heater to get.

Thanks again!

Mine has the printing "Tempeco" "20W 115 Volts" and a model number. I did a Google search when I first bought it and found this company to make cartidge heaters. This one wasn't listed, so I assume they are contract made for Lyman specs.

Also, check out McMaster-Carr for a large selection of cartidge heaters to fit any need.

Machined the aluminum block today and ordered a 50 watt heater from McMaster Carr - less than $15. The thermostat I had in stock. It even has a temperature readout so I should be set.
