i recently bought some .32acp reloads loaded with 77gr rn-l's, made from #2 alloy.

these boolits dont deform at all, might as well be shooting fmj's from it.

what is the softest(% lead) i can shoot at 900fps in this caliber?

id at least like the boolit to deform some.

You can use dead soft lead. I shot a thousand or so swaged HBWC at something over 900 fps from my .32 S&W Long. There may be feeding considerations, but lead with just enough tin in it to cast well is usable at modest velocity.

Even with lead or close to it, nose shape affects expansion.

30-1 through pure range, should do 900 with a fair lube.
