California flake flux

I ordered a box of Pat Marlin's California flake flux several months ago. I didn't get around to trying it until four days ago. After using it during casting sessions on three consecutive days I can say this is indeed a "WOW" product. I used a pinch whenever I added ingots to the pot. The melt remained clean after each fluxing and skimming. No dross or crud floating to the top surface. Absolutely clean alloy till the pot level gets so low ingots have to be added. From now on Pat Marlin's California flake flux will be on my "must have" list of casting supplies. Trifocals :-D:-D:-D

Yep, I've had good luck with it. It seems to be a lifetime supply, but I may have to get some more of this if I keep casting as much as I am.
