I have heard a lot about Ballistol over the years, so I decided I would give it a try. Might afford better protection than the oils I have been using.

WOW !! Does that bring back memories. Smells like one of my old girl friends from my high school days.

I heard this from a BP silly wet shooter. Mix the ballistol with water and it makes a great bore cleaner. Think they call it moose milk. Frank

its pretty good that way, you mix it from 1-8 ballistol to water up to 50-50.
interestingly it does not clean as good full strength as it does cut with water...and it works best for the BP cleaning .....Dean
