sharp shooter mould question

i have just begun casting for 00 buckshot with a sharp shooter mould i bought. i noticed that during my second casting session, that one of the alignment balls had fallen out. i need to find it (its in the bucket of water where i quench my shot) what would be the best route to insure i do not have it fall out again?
