Hello,
YES, this is hording. You must immediately start sending this lead out to all castboolits members to avoid being called a horder.

:bigsmyl2:

(seriously, great score, everybody needs friends like yours)

Take Care,

As by definition, unless you sit on a Lead mine, you simply can't have enough!

It's only hoarding if you don't use it! :-D:-D

Great score; keep it up, we need more of this free roaming lead in captivity.

I have thought (I KNOW[smilie=1:) on more than one occassion that if all of us on this board could move to some remote target rich community life would be soooooo cool....but then I thunked harder about it [smilie=1: and I came up with these "ISSUES"

1. Fistfights at garage sales and estate sales:twisted:
2. no lead availabiltiy at any place of commerce
3. Moon craters at all local ranges:twisted:
4. No brass anywhere on the ground at any range...ever
5. many other issue of shortages too I am afraid.
6. No one could keep a sheep or a goat on their property:roll:

The big "issue" all that lead in one spot would likely throw the planet into imbalance and we would all get flung off or other things that are far worse.

So maybe just maybe us being scattered all across the globe is a good thing afterall.

Beanflip: That may not be hoarding ... but one end of your house/garage is going to go down and the other end is going to go up. That's just the nature of having excess weight like that in one place. I'd be more than willing to take some of that lead off your hands ... just for your benefit, you understand. Nice haul! 'Tuck

No. Only primers can be hoarded. Working to aquire large supplies of everything else is good.

The lead with the holes in it is defective. Send it to me so I can correct this devestating issue!

I'm also curious about the licorice-looking things on top of the pile. With the flutes, and being hollow they almost look like some kind of heat sink, but I've never heard of using lead alloy in that capacity.

Congrats on the nice haul!

Just because you do not keep a sheep of your own does not mean you do not know how to jump a fence and how to properly use knee high redball boots.[smilie=1:

If that is hoarding, I'm in double-trouble! I got about 4400lbs of lead sheathing, and just over 300lbs of 3lb WW ingots stacked up. I prefer to think of myself as preparing for retirement.

That's what I thought I was doing also. I later found out that primers are different and that there is some unknown number that is not supposed to be exceeded. I never did learn what it was.

I also enjoy hoarding. So far it has leaned towards food, guns, and lead, not necessarily in that order. And, a guy I am stocking a rifle for, called last night, and told me he had a lot of lead he didn't need, and would give me. The life of a hoarder can be good.

I don't recall. Did the grasshopper ever actually acuse the ant of causing winter by storing food?
