i'll post the real details later but for now...
i shot three rifles at the god awful short range of 50 yds today
i had loaded some reddot and wanted to see how they shot.
also some wc820 4227 and varget
i was impressed with the reddot, but
27 gr of varget and the 173 gr in a 308 shot very well,
27 gr of varget and 133gr 311359 in 03a3 =5x 0.83" ( 3 x 0.25")...issue sights.(1610fps, 14 sd)...looks like a nice mbabr load.....

Mike, I've been playing around with 35.0/2230-C in .308 with WQ 308-165-SIL enough that I'm gonna keep playing with them. In the [very windy] wind Saturday I got an honest one inch group at a hunert with a dacron wad fired from a 700 VS for 10 shots. I'm happy, because that powder was CHEAP. I was shooting on the club range that had burned off (did you know that Oklahoma is STILL in a drought and EXTREMELY HIGH fire danger?) a couple weeks ago, and in addition to the wind was crazy mirage. sundog
